Facebook Marketing - The value of a Facebook fan

Facebook Marketing is important for all companies as part of their marketing strategy. More and more companies are building up Facebook pages for their followers. Now the value of a Facebook fan is identified.

Victoria's Secret and Facebook Marketing
Victoria's Secret are among those with the most fans, 10 380 273 in writing.

A research company specializing in social media, Syncapse, has managed to determine the value of a Facebook fan to $ 136.38.

But it points out that it is dependent on the company's business. For some companies, the value of a fan may be considerably larger - and for others null and void.

The survey questioned 4000 fans to the 20 major brands of why they were followers, and their purchases over the years and how they intend to act in the future. Among the brands were Nokia, BlackBerry, Victoria 's Secret, Adidas, Nike, Coca - Cola, Starbucks and McDonald's.

Syncapse then calculated the value of the intended purchase and what brand could profit by having them as fans.

Marketing survey result

The marketing survey resulted in that;

• A Facebook fan spends $71,84 more on the brand than those who are not fans.

• It is more likely (28 percent more) that a fan continues to use the mark than a non -fan.

• It is more likely (41 percent) that a fan recommends a product compared with those who are not supporters of the brand.

As you can see from the facts above, marketing on Facebook is something that all companies should look into and work with. This marketing strategy is not only for big companies and well-known brands; it is as important for small businesses as well.
